Colors Rainbow conducted an advocacy skill training for civil society members in Dawei for the first time.

“We aim to enhance the advocacy skill of civil society members in their practical advocating. This is the first time to give advocacy training,” said Daw Aye Mon from Colors Rainbow based at Dawei. This training was held to gain knowledge about advocacy issues for civil society members.

“As we are youths, knowledge is the thing what we always need to attain. Even if we have learnt something, we are scared of thinking the things we still have not learned. Previously, I thought advocacy as only Comping. Now, I came to know what I need to learn by comparing with what I have now,” Ko Nyi Shine from The Windows Dawei Youth Club who attended the training said.

This training was held at Pyinyar Baikman Hall, Dawei from 26th October to 28th October and there were 24 total attendees including civil society organizations, Farmers organization and women members.
