A training was held at Tamwe township for 3 days with the aim of making LGBT stay in\u00a0harmony among community.<\/p>\n
This training organized by Colors Rainbow was from 16th<\/sup>\u00a0to 18th<\/sup>\u00a0July at Eden Palace\u00a0Hotel in Tamwe township.<\/p>\n \u201cThis training was held with the aim to understand clearly about LGBT and SOGIE, to\u00a0decrease discriminations and restrictions on SOGIE and to see the violence and legal\u00a0connections. And it also aimed to have a better network when demanding for rights,\u201d\u00a0said Ma Yu Myat Mon from Colors Rainbow.<\/p>\n The training was attended by 29 attendees who are not only LGBTs but also Non-LGBTs.<\/p>\n \u201cAll the trainers taught us topic by topic patiently and warmly to understand. I didn\u2019t have\u00a0plan to continue attending from the start of the training. It is more interesting to learn\u00a0about SOGIE. So, I attended the training for full 3 days and have discussed. Everybody\u00a0should know about SOEGI. In that way, I think the love of everybody will be accepted,\u201d\u00a0said a transgender woman, Aunty Shine.<\/p>\n Trainees said that they gained knowledge about how LGBTs should behave in social\u00a0community and have better understanding on their sexual orientation.<\/p>\n
