Bright Pride hosts Public Speaking Skills training in Shwebo

Bright Pride Myanmar Lesbian hosted two days trainings in Shwebo, Sagaing Region, to raise awareness on LGBT/SOGE and improve Public Speaking Skills.

C.A.N Myanmar and PFLAG Myanmar also provided technical supports for the training held on June 20-21.

“The aim of the training is to enhance skills of young LGBTs in advocating on LGBT rights in their community especially among the families and friends,’’ said Daw Su Su Hlaing, Leader of Bright Pride Myanmar Lesbian.

Bright Pride is a Mandalay based lesbian organization organizing training and talks as well as public awareness raising campaigns, LGBT events and charitable activities in collaboration with other partnership groups.

There were 24 attendances at the training in Shwebo where discriminations based on SOGIE are broadly discussed.
